"Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you riding through the ruts, don't complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don't bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live!" ~Bob Marley

Work is slowly picking up on BoatHouse' first feature film, "Roadwork Ahead." This week, our Executive Producer, Aaron Spence and the film's director, Andre Saballette will head to Charleston, South Carolina for location scouting. They will take this opportunity to meet with Harald Galinski of Studio Charleston, who in a true display of Southern hospitality, has offered to show our guys the great things Charleston and the Studio have to offer.

This trip marks another great step in this exciting new journey. The adventure has begun and our team is thrilled to bring you along for the ride!

BoatHouse Pictures is proud to announce that we will be producing a public service announcement for Comcast NBC-Universal. The PSA features a great organization, the Veterans Multi-services Center, located right here in Philadelphia. This opportunity is made possible by Bill Black of the Comcast Foundation. Bill has been in talks with the VMC since October 2013 and brought BoatHouse Pictures onboard in December.

As of January of 2014, we have been working closely with the VMC to make sure we can shed a positive light on their organization. For those of you who do not know, the VMC's mission is to help military veterans with any aide they may need in order to adjust to life post service. Currently, the VMC is holding a campaign to end veteran homelessness by 2015. This is only one of the many services the VMC provides to local veterans. The VMC also works closely with local VA offices, hospitals, and other organizations. One of their major partners is Microsoft; allowing veterans to gain the knowledge, skill, and technical certification that allows them to get work as Microsoft certified computer technicians. By providing work, housing, medical attention, meals and more, the VMC is truly Serving those who Served.

BHP is honored and proud to be producing this PSA. The PSA will be featured across the local NBC-Universal networks, beginning this fall. Keep an eye out, it's coming to a TV near you!
